Oberheim OB-SX – Synth King Presets

Description:

here are my new presets for the Oberheim OB-SX. With the help of Rolf Meurer and his “magic box” (midi interface for the OB-SX giving full access to all 32 parameters via midi cc) I was able to create 56 brand new sounds for this fantastic synth.

In case you are also using the magic box, use the file “OB-SX-Synth King presets.sys” to transfer the new presets via sysex.

If you haven´t got the “magic box” and want to breathe new life into your OB-SX, you can replace the factory presets with my presets. Just burn the image file “SX-C2 synthkingpresets.bin” onto an empty 2708 EPROM and insert it into socket A32. That´s it !

You´ll find a list of the new presets in the included pdf file.

Synth Motions Drum Edition for TAL-Drum

As Synthwave music was popular in the 80s, drum computers like the Roland TR808, the LinnDrum, the Korg Minipops or Oberheim DX were used very often.
Nowadays the Synthwave music is becoming even more popular and we took this opportunity, to go ahead and dive into sound making, again.
For sure we liked the flair and sounds from the Eighties, but we wanted to take it a step forward.
So we used additionally the technology from today and created new powerful sounds, nice punchy kicks and “in your face” snares.
Collected together in 20 Drum kits, everything was sampled and layered together included the midi files. You can watch the demo videos to give an insight on these tight and highly usable Drum Kits
